In a world where nothing seems to get through at times it's important to know that God still speaks! God can speak to us in many ways, and in the quiet we seem to hear Him most. Reading the Bible is our task, getting alone and quieting our soul, hearing is our goal and obedience to God's word is our calling! We will peek into the lives of men and women who struggled with the flesh over the 'new man'.
We will see that it is a great thing to wage war against the two natures, great in that Christ has overcome and so can we! In designing this page I wanted to share my heart about real people in relationship with a real God! The first person of faith in whose story I have created the theme for this site is a man who never died in history as yet, he was sort of absorbed into our legacy. He was a master prophet, he saw and heard great things, but he was still a man of flesh and really human. Our man? Elijah. May's devotion takes us on Elijah's journey to hear God and be obedient in the face of great fear. I hope you enjoy the brief thoughts I have written, this particular topic touched my heart and built my faith a bit more, I hope it will build yours as well!
